Douglas Crockford

Douglas Crockford was an architect for Yahoo!, and a computer programmer from the 1970's till today. He started programming in san francisco state university where he began to learn and started coding for his own.

As a programmer, he started to discover that he is very good at programming when he started taking up fortran. At forst he thought he would not have any kind of talent for this, but with his 1st term, he realized that he really has some talent in it. One of the interesting things that he have written is the time when he wrote or code a program to disassemble the runtime of the Fortran system on the timesharing system that he was using that time. In this code, he was able to gain access to see to the system of fortran. He was also have great knowledge in debugging codes and making them better than before.

For my opinion, I think his acheivements in programming can be considered a great asset not only for Yahoo!, but to everyone who can beconsidered as future programmers. Especially in our time, where computer and programming has been expanding faster. I think that he is letting the future programmers know that we must start on something in order to build something even better on what had come already.
